Miriam Elizabeth Keller, Cheltenham High School Grad, Of Roslyn

Miriam Elizabeth "Bette" Keller of Roslyn died Saturday, Nov. 2, at Abington Hospice at Warminster. She was 86.

Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. Knowles and Irene Eva Knowles (née Cooper).

She was the widow of Raymond R. Keller; mother of Arthur R. DuHaime III, David R. Keller, and Brian R. Keller; grandmother of Arthur R. DuHaime IV, Diana N. DuHaime, Christopher R. DuHaime, and Matthew R. Keller; great- grandmother of Kyleigh E. DuHaime, Jordan Nagel, Tyler Sarau, Ethan DuHaime, and Austin DuHaime; and sister of Donald Knowles.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Raymond Knowles.

Keller was raised and educated in Cheltenham, where she was a 1945 graduate of Cheltenham High School. She worked as a secretary for Asplundh in the 1950s and in 1974 went to work at Silver Lake Lanes in Willow Grove, (now Thunderbird Lanes).

A memorial service will be held Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at the Wayside Chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Prospectville.
Religious services will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Beale.
