Leslie Anne Howald, of McKinley and Pottstown

Leslie Anne Howald, of McKinley and Pottstown, died Friday, Oct. 25 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 54.

She was the older sister of Eileen Van Fleet, Dan Howald, Rob Howald, Sue Eames, Favie Williams and Mimi Kelly.

Howald is survived by her stepmother, Barbara Howald; her aunts and uncles, Herb Howald, Charlotte, Al Herrmann, Jack Herrmann, Marge Sexton and Pat Conroy; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her primary caregiver, Sharon Blankenbiller; her East Valley LifePath housemates, Carol, Pam, Gail; and staff, neighbors, and friends, provided her with many happy and healthy years in her Pottstown group home, for which the family will be forever grateful.

The family also wishes to acknowledge the caring staff of the Pottstown Hospital ICU for its tender care of Howald in her final days.

The family will receive guests at 9 a.m. prior to a memorial service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Abington Friends Meeting House, 520 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifePath Foundations, 3500 High Point Boulevard, Bethlehem, Pa. 18017.
