John Arthur Weaver, of Meadowbrook

Jack Weaver, of Meadowbrook, died Wednesday, Dec. 11. He was 76.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of James and Harriett Weaver.

Weaver was the husband of Linda (Hollinger).

Weaver was a chemical engineer and worked at Rohm and Haas, starting in 1969 and retiring in 1990 as vice president for environmental, health and safety and engineering. 

He was a longtime member of Advent Lutheran Church in Richboro.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sonya, of Belmont, Maine; a brother, James; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara.

Weaver’s memorial service was Sunday at Advent Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nature Conservancy, Gift Planning, 4245 North Fairfax Drive, Suite 100, Arlington, Va. 22203-1606; or to Advent Lutheran Church.
