Harold F. Rosenwinkel, Veteran, of Willow Grove

Harold F. Rosenwinkel, of Willow Grove, died Thursday, Oct. 24. He was 78.

Born in Melrose Park, Ill., he was the son of the late Alfred and Alvina (Hoppensteadt) Rosenwinkel.

He was the husband of 41 years to Judith A. (Nickelsen) Rosenwinkel.

Rosenwinkel was a graduate of the University of Illinois at Navy Pier and Urbana with a degree in architecture.

After graduation, he traveled the world; upon his return, he was employed.

He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Kris Neyman of Pittman, N.J., Sarah Rosenwinkel of San Francisco, and Laura Rosenwinkel of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren Paige, Joshua and Brynn; a brother, Lester Rosenwinkel; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, 411 Susquehanna Road, Ambler. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church; interment will be private in Illinois.
