Former Abington Solicitor Dies
Thomas Waters Jr. was a district attorney for Montgomery County, a former Abington Solicitor and served as president of the Montco Bar Association.
Thomas Englar Waters Jr., of Lower Gwynedd, formerly of Fort Washington, died Wednesday, July 31. He was 81.
Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Thomas Englar Waters Sr. and Elizabeth Turner Waters.
Waters attended Lafayette College and earned his JD from the University of Pennsylvania. He started his career with Waters, Fleer and Cooper and also served in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his wife Ande, he is survived by his children, James, Douglas, Anne and Steven; and several grandchildren.
