Fletcher F. ‘Buddy’ Jenkins, of Elkins Park

Fletcher F. “Buddy” Jenkins, of Atlantic City and Elkins Park, died Monday, June 3 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 73.

Born in Timmonsville, S.C., he was the son of the late Julius Jenkins Jr. and the late Mamie Ruth (Bristow) Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife, Kate Jenkins; two children, Brian Jenkins and Courtney E. Fulton; a sister, Vera E. Webb; and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is tentatively scheduled for June 15 in Philadelphia, and an additional memorial service will be held in Florence, S.C. on June 22.

Arrangements are by Wetzel and Sons Funeral Home, Willow Grove.
