Elizabeth Morley Williams, Art Teacher in Abington

Williams also taught in the Lower Moreland School District; her funeral service is Sunday.

Elizabeth "Betty" Morley Williams died on Sunday, Dec. 1, at Rydal Park Medical Center. She was 93.

Born in State College, she grew up in Maplewood, N.J. Williams was a graduate of Skidmore College.

Williams earned her master’s degree in art education from Tyler School of Art and taught in the Abington and Lower Moreland school districts.

She was the widow of Bill Williams; they had been married for 60 years.

Williams is survived by her children, Dee Malan Massey, Louise Bultman, Merrily Williams and Chip; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Road, Abington. Friends will be received after the service.
