David Allen Chubb Sr., of Willow Grove
Chubb, was a U.S. Army veteran and an Upper Moreland graduate; his funeral service is Saturday.
David Allen Chubb Sr. of Willow Grove, died Monday, Dec. 9 at his residence. He was 73
Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Herbert H. and the late Aileen (Short) Chubb. He was the widower of Sarah Ann “Sally” Chubb.
Chubb was an Upper Moreland High School graduate, and worked for PECO for more than 40 years.

Chubb served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1967 at a rank of SP4. He was also a supporter of the Upper Moreland Alumni Association.

He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Culp and Michele Dougherty; a son, David A. Chubb Jr.; five grandchildren; and two brothers, William and Richard Chubb. He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert, and a sister, Lorraine.
Relatives and friends may gather Saturday, Dec. 14 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove.
