Carolyn M. Sheehan, Worked at Abington YMCA

Carolyn M. (Krauss) Sheehan, formerly of Willow Grove, died Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. She was 94.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Edgar G. and Cora Boeger Krauss.

She worked as an office manager for the YMCA in Abington and volunteered in the cancer ward at Abington Memorial Hospital; she also worked in the Hallmark Gift Shop in Willow Grove 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert W. Brown, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, John Sheehan of Warminster; two sons, Frederick Brown and Robert W. Brown, Jr.; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren, Sophia and Abe Kaplan and Keane Brown.

A memorial service will be held later at Jenkintown United Methodist Church
