How God's Dwelling With You Can Change Your Life

In this troubled world, we wonder where we can obtain strength to prevail. Through difficult times, we can place each circumstance in the hand of God, and see God operate through each crisis.

Often in this troubled world, filled with financial difficulties, stressful issues, and family crisis, we wonder where we can obtain strength to prevail.  However, in the Gospel, according to St. John 1, the Bible declares that "the Word was God" and that "the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us".

The Almighty holy God created mankind with the ability to make choices.  Although, mankind used that choice to disobey God and plunge himself into separation from God, God did not destroy mankind, but instead became a Man, in the form of Jesus Christ, in order to show us how to live.  God has deemed that His justice for our disobedience will be satisfied upon our belief and commitment to the work of Jesus Christ.

The abundant life means our lives are a part of God's directed divine plan.  It means that we are not subject to merely the corrupt forces and systems of this world, but rather, are under a divine plan, which supersedes and transcends what happens here on earth.  We are not alone!  Even though we may go through abuses, financial difficulties, and job losses, we can place those circumstances in the hand of God, and see God operate through each crisis.  For example, a husband's job loss prayerfully presented to God may give rise to him spending more time with his wife and children until such time that he gains employment again.  Also, God may use financial difficulties teach us to be more disciplined in spending, so that when we obtain more money, we do not overspend.
