Pics: 'Keep the Parade Running'

.

The Keep the Parade Running 5K brought in over 300 runners and more than $10,000.

The proceeds will benefit the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association, which sponsors Independence Day events, including the parade.

Abington Commissioner and Glenside resident Carol Gillespie helped organize the event to honor her late husband, Abington Commissioner Mike Gillespie. Mike Gillespie was instrumental in organizing Independence Day events in Glenside.

If you were at the event, feel free to upload some of your pictures.

Take the easy way out - for about $20 plus or minus with tip go to the Mexican guys in Quakertown.Read More They are on the south bound side where the old battery warehouse was - directly across from the big car wash on 309. They did my SUV for $25 including generous tip - inside and out, dressed the tires and did the windshield about 3 times! These guys are fantastic and really do a great job for the money.
