Continuing their years of valued logistical support and services to the overall celebration, that drew record-breaking crowds to all three of the aforementioned, admission-free events, were Abington and Cheltenham  Townships' police personnel.  And the vital teamwork of Abington police, volunteer fire and rescue groups and Abington's emergency management planning corps helped make the popular fireworks show a safe and spectacular staging.

Cooperating, too, were Abington School District administrators, who again permitted public access to high and middle school sites for thousands of July 4th fireworks attendees.  Other major financial contributors to the recent celebration are:   Republic Bank, William R. May Funeral Home-Glenside, Penny's Flowers,  Roslyn Supply, RE/MAX Services' Realtor Carol Mallen, Gretz Beer,  Riviera D'Italia Restaurant & Pizzeria-Roslyn, Vahey Family  Insurance-All-State, The Keswick Tavern, North Penn Veterans of Foreign  Wars Post 676, State Rep.
