As the week started, many people were buzzing about the type of weather approaching the area for today and tomorrow.
As the massive high pressure system passes to our east, it will bring a large warm mass of air that will make it feel like it's the middle of April.
What makes it even better is the plentiful amounts of sunshine for today and most of tomorrow.
This morning will be chilly with temperatures in the upper 20s and mostly clear skies. As the sun rises, the ground will quickly warm up and temperatures will soar into the upper 50s by the afternoon. Some areas will reach the lower 60s, especially places closer to Philadelphia.
Tonight will be more mild than the past couple of days, only dropping to the upper 40s by midnight. The skies will be partly cloudy with a southernly wind at 8 to 12 mph.
Tomorrow will be the warmest day of the week with partly cloudy skies in the morning, then increasing cloudiness in the afternoon. The high temperatures will be in the mid-60s along with an increasing southernly wind blowing at 12 to 16 mph.
By tomorrow evening, the sky will become overcast as a cold front approaches from the west. Rain is expected to arrive in the late evening with temperatures in the low 50s, but quickly dropping into the early morning of Friday.
Friday will start out with some lingering showers ending in the late morning. The skies will clear out and the high afternoon temperatures will be cooler in the upper 40s. Northwest winds will pick up at 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon as the cold front passes by.
The weekend will be seasonably nice with sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.
