Teaching All Kinds of Minds: Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners in 21st Century Classrooms

Are you diversified in the classroom?

Please join us for our next Professional Development seminar for K-12 educators, Teaching All Kinds of Minds (TAKOM), July 14-16, 2014 at Center School in Abington, PA.

Whether you are a seasoned teacher or new to the field, we know today's students all learn differently and it's up to us to know how to reach them.  Leveraging what we do know about learning diversity will be the focus of this 3-day seminar.

PLUS -  materials, continental breakfast and a light lunch are included!

This course looks at the newest research in the science of learning. Case studies will be used to observe students through a new lens. Inquiry-based guided practice and application activities will engage participants to understand their own learning profile, to analyze the demands of academic tasks in light of an AKOM framework, and enable them to design and adapt instruction to maximize student success.
