Sen. Washington's Shredding Event

Sen. Washington Offers Constituents Opportunity to Safely
Destroy Sensitive Documents

State Senator LeAnna
Washington (D-Montgomery/ Philadelphia) will host a
drive-through shredding event

to help constituents
ensure that their documents are safely destroyed and their identities
protected. The event is free of charge and open to constituents of Washington’s
district. Businesses are not eligible to use this service. Washington encourages constituents to bring items such
documents containing their Social Security number, bank statements, credit card
applications and balance statements, canceled or unused checks, insurance and
income tax records, and other personal documents that they would like to
securely destroy.

Documents may contain staples, but constituents are asked to remove all
other paper clips, binder clips, and other fasteners from the documents prior
to shredding.
