Oktoberfest

Fifth Annual Oktoberfest to benefit Lutheran Disaster Response

St. Paul's Lutheran Church is hosting it's annual  Oktoberfest to benefit Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR). LDR provides assistance to people who have been affected by natural disasters, such as Hurricane Sandy, tornados, and wild fires. LDR responds locally in the Philadelphia area, nationally and globally.


Oktoberfest tickets are available on line at http://www.stpaulsglenside.org/. Adult tickets are $20 and include a platter of German food and a free beer or glass of wine. Children's tickets are available for $10 or items may be purchased a la carte.












The Oktoberfest is a full day of activities and fun. Some of the highlights are:

  • Beer tasting
  • German food and beers, including many homebrews from members of St. Paul’s congregation
  • children’s activities: Pony rides, hay rides and three inflatable rides;
  • traditional German dancing with community participation led by GTV Almrausch, 
  •  musical entertainment by St. Paul’s own house band and an accoridan matador Don Bitterlich.
  • A silent auction will run throughout the event.
