Junior Girl Scout Troop 715's Plastic Bag Drive

Do you have extra plastic bags taking up room in your home?  You can de-clutter your home by donating your
bags to Junior Girl Scout Troop 715’s plastic bag drive.  If the troop collects at least 10,000 bags,
the recycled plastic can potentially be used to create a new park bench!

Plastic bags are the #1 contaminant to the curbside
recycling program.  These bags can be
recycled, but they must be returned to receptacles that accept them.  By educating the community through this
plastic bag drive, the scouts hope to reduce the volume of plastic bags that
end up in the landfill and increase the recycling of plastic bags.
