This solemn evening service completes Holy Work with the portrayal of the last words and thoughts of seven of those around him at the time of his crucifixion. The words and music of Ruth Elaine Schram share the reflections of these seven witnesses to Jesus's death, pulling out our emotions as we identify with and/or revile the thoughts and sentiments which the witnesses express. The congregation departs in silent meditation.
