Free Lunch and Celebration Launch on June 24th for Older Adults Age 60+ Who Opt to “Age at Home”

Growing older doesn’t have to mean losing independence. A
new local resource, Aging at Home—A
Community Network,
offers Eastern Montgomery County seniors streamlined
access to the services and support that makes remaining in their homes a safe
and comfortable option. On June 24, 2014, community members are invited to
learn more at an informational event, The
Art of Living Independently: A Celebration for Senior Adults
. Attendees
will be treated to complimentary lunch and enjoy live music, prizes and more
while learning about Aging at Home-A
Community Network
.

A Single Source for Coordinating Multiple
Needs

The issues faced by senior adults vary.  Some issues are minor, such as where to find a
reputable lawn care service that is budget friendly. Other issues are more complex,
such as how to coordinate the nursing, personal care and meal services that may
be necessary to live independently.
