People interested in learning about adoption are invited to attend an adoption information meeting and panel discussion with parents who have recently successfully adopted through Pearl S. Buck International’s Welcome House® Adoption Program. The complimentary information meeting will be held on Saturday, February 9 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Giant Food Store Community Center, 315 York Road, Willow Grove, Pa.
Designed for families and individuals interested in international adoption, the program opens with an overview of our adoption programs and explains the process of adopting a child from China, Korea, Colombia and the Philippines. Adoptive families will share their firsthand experiences with adoption; including what it is like to adopt a waiting child with health concerns, the challenges and joys of adopting as a single woman, and adopting from our Korea and China programs.
