Roslyn Film Festival - CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Roslyn Film Festival Committee is seeking your original short film submissions for screening during our 7th Annual Roslyn Film Festival.

Regardless of your experience as a filmmaker (pro, semi-pro, amateur, or hobbyist) the Roslyn Film Festival is one of our community's most popular events, and a great way to get your work seen by a live audience. We encourage you to submit your film today!

This year's screening will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2013. The early entry fee is only $15 for submissions received by February 1, 2013. (The standard entry fee is $25 for all films submitted from Feb 2 until March 1, 2013.) Proceeds from the entry fees, ticket cost, and sales of raffle tickets and concessions at the event benefit the Roslyn Volunteer Fire Department.

All submitted films will be viewed by a selection committee, and films selected for screening will be voted on by the audience, with prizes for the top 3 audience favorites.

Elegibility Information for Filmmakers - Please Read!
Download the entry form at our website (http://www.roslynfilmfestival.com/submit.html). You'll need to submit one entry form per movie, but you may send one check for total amount of the entry fee. Please make sure you send the correct amount for the total number of movies you are entering.

In order to qualify for consideration as part of the film festival, entries must not exceed 30 minutes in length (including credits), and must be received no later than March 1, 2013. Entry fees are based on submission date, so it benefits you to submit early!

Movies must be sent in DVD Format and include all contact information written legibly on the disc itself. Due to the number of submissions received, we can't guarantee the DVD won't be separated from the sleeve in which it is sent! No nudity or language that may be considered unsuitable for all ages. (Though we consider this event to be rated PG-13, younger audience members may also be in attendance with their parents.)

Please note that submission of films and entry fee does not guarantee that your film will be shown. Due to event time restrictions, all films will be viewed by preliminary judges and only the top films will be shown. You will receive notification if your film is selected prior to the event.

The Roslyn Film Festival Committee, Roslyn Fire Company, and Lori Schreiber are not responsible
for any lost or damaged movies. Movies will not be returned.

Entry Fees and Submission
$15.00 entry fee per film if received by Feb 1, 2013 ($5 for each additional film title)
$25.00 entry fee per film if received between Feb 2 and Mar 1, 2013

No film will be accepted if received after March 1, 2013.
