Linebarger law firm names Pamela Harris-Williams Partner

PHILADELPHIA- The law firm of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP (Linebarger) today announced that Pamela Harris-Williams has rejoined the firm as partner.  Harris-Williams previously worked at Linebarger as an associate.

“Pamela brings a great deal of experience to the firm as partner,” said Sharon Humble, Managing Partner at Linebarger. “Her experience as the owner of her own law office, in addition to the time she previously spent at Linebarger and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office makes her a valuable addition.  On behalf of the staff and leadership at Linebarger, we happily welcome Pamela back into our ranks and look forward to growing our business together.”

Harris-Williams grew up in West Oak Lane and is an alumna of Central High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Pennsylvania State University in 1994 before going on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Cornell Law School in 1998. During her time at Cornell, Harris-Williams interned full-time at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, worked in the Cornell Legal Aid Clinic, and served as a member of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. She also competed in moot court competitions, where she won Cornell Law Schools’ Cuccia Cup Moot Court Competition in 1996.

Upon graduating, Harris-Williams worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office until 2001. As Assistant District Attorney, she prosecuted felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, conducted parole and probation hearings, and prosecuted civil traffic violations. She then joined Linebarger as an associate until 2006, when she left to begin her own sole proprietorship, the Law Office of Harris-Williams, located in Philadelphia. In this capacity, Ms. Harris-Williams continued to contract professional services with Linebarger and worked closely with the firm through 2013.

Harris-Williams is admitted to practice in the courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the United States District Court-Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She also serves a member of both the New Jersey Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She currently resides in Abington.
