Cheltenham Art Center Seeks Entries

The art center will hold its annual members exhibition in January ... and it is looking for art.

 

Cheltenham Center for the Arts will host its 72nd Annual Members Exhibition, opening on Friday, Jan. 11. ,This vibrant and varied exhibition is an opportunity for all members to showcase their creativity and talent. The exhibition continues through Feb. 8.

Deirdre Murphy, Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, is the juror for prizes in the exhibition. 

The call for entries is open to all current adult CCA members.  Each artist may submit one entry of any new work in any medium, created in the last two years and never before shown at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts. Artwork may not exceed 48 inches in any direction. Hanging work must be properly framed and wired. No clip frames.

The complete prospectus is available online at www.cheltenhamarts.org with intake dates for work beginning Jan. 2.

Artists may enter the show by becoming a member of Cheltenham Center for the Arts; http://www.cheltenhamarts.org/members/become-member - individual memberships begin at $45. The prizes will be awarded Friday, Jan. 11 at the opening reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Take the easy way out - for about $20 plus or minus with tip go to the Mexican guys in Quakertown.Read More They are on the south bound side where the old battery warehouse was - directly across from the big car wash on 309. They did my SUV for $25 including generous tip - inside and out, dressed the tires and did the windshield about 3 times! These guys are fantastic and really do a great job for the money.
