Abington, Cheltenham, Jenkintown Schools Closed Today, Among Others

The National Weather Service says the area could get six inches of snow Thursday night into Friday.

So far, here's what's delayed: 

• Abington School District Schools will be closed Friday, Jan. 3, according to a district email. 

• Cheltenham School District schools and offices will be closed Friday, Jan. 3, according to a statement on the district's website.

• Penn State Abington's campus will be closed Friday, Jan. 3, and all events have been cancelled, according to a statement on the university's website.

• Montgomery County has announced a two-hour delayed opening for the all county offices and courts on Friday, Jan. 3.

• Arcadia University will open one hour late, at 9 a.m., due to the anticipated snow. The university said on its website that it make any additional changes to its schedule by 5 a.m. tomorrow.  

• Abington Friends School school offices will be closed Friday, Jan. 3, according to a statement on the school's website. 

• Jenkintown School District will be closed Friday, Jan. 3 according to a statement on the district's website.

• Manor College will be closed, Friday, Jan. 3 according to a statement on the college's website.
