PSU Student from Glenside Named to All-Star Team

The Penn State Abington midfielder led the Nittany Lions in scoring.

A Penn State Abington student athlete from Glenside landed herself onto an all-star team.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference recently named Penn State midfielder Mallory Mugnier to its 2013 Division III Upstate Women’s Soccer All-Star team.

Mugnier led the Nittany Lions with 14 goals and 33 points for the season, both of which are single-season records for the program. The Nittany Lions finished the season with 61 goals, which was 17th in Division III, out of 427 teams, and third in the North Eastern Athletic Conference

Mugnier was also good defensively, having a 0.77 goals-against average — which was 60th out of 427 Division III teams — and first in the NEAC.
