Why Go: The word’s only museum of Three Stooges memorabilia, doesn’t have regular operating hours but has an open house about once a month, to give you a chance to see the museum’s almost 100,000 pieces.

Why Go: Make a handmade card to celebrate Grandparents’ Day. For ages 3 and up, while supplies last.

Why Go: In honor of the first Friday of the month, many businesses will offer extended hours, special activities or refreshments. Parking is free, starting at 5 p.m.

Where/When: Wintersport, 551 York Road, Willow Grove; every Sunday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Why Go: Open hockey is for players with B-level or higher skills. Beat the heat by hitting the ice! Not for beginners. Equipment required.

Where/When: Abington Library, 1030 Old York Road, Abington; every Friday from 3:45 to 5 p.m.
Why Go: Friday Games for students in grades six to 12, features chess, checkers, Scrabble, Othello and other games, as well as laughs and fun with friends.
