Why go: Storyteller Don Dougherty takes families on an action-packed adventure in It’s a Great Big, Really Small World!

Where/When: Wintersport, 551 York Road, Willow Grove; July 24 and every Sunday through Aug. 28 from 7:20 to 8:20 p.m.
Why go: The clinic, for adults 15 and over, teaches basic fundamentals, including skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting, angling and positioning.
Pricing: $25 per walk-on day

Why go: Upper Moreland Parks and Recreation Department sponsors the annual Summer Concert Series, featuring Daisy Jug Band, visually delighting with mastery of the kazoo, scrub-board, wash-tub and garden hose! Carpooling is recommended. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Why go: Design your own Drapo, an elaborately decorated flag originating in Haiti. The event is for students entering sixth through ninth grades in the fall. Registration is required.
