- Abington School District schools will be open and operating on a normal schedule on Thursday, Nov. 1. The school district closed its for the past several days due to the storm.
- The Abington YMCA is again offering its facilities to those residents without power. See the story here. Residents just need to come in, show ID, and fill out a guest pass to take a shower, take advantage of the heat and to charge electronic devices.
- Abington committee meetings, which were to be held tonight, have been cancelled. The meetings were originally scheduled for Monday. Abington Township Manager Michael LeFevre said the Abington Board of Commissioners will meet are still scheduled to meet Nov. 8.
- Today is All Saints’ Day.
