Basilian Sisters Hold Fall Community Days

The Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great, Jesus Lover of Humanity Province, gathered at their Motherhouse in Fox Chase Manor for a weekend of prayer, reflection and discussion late last month.

The fourth in a series of “Community Days — Facing Our Future With Hope”, the 3-day session

began with Provincial Superior Sister Dorothy Ann Busowski’s update of Province matters and then centered on the  Sisters’ plans for their communal future.

Once again assisted by facilitators, Sister Carol Marozzi, SSJ, and Sister Connie Gilder, SSJ, the attendees engaged in contemplative dialogue to reflect upon progress made thus far and to determine if the group is headed toward a preferred course of direction.

At the conclusion of the 3-day session, each Sister was called upon to re-dedicate herself to work for “the life of the world and the future of our mission as Sisters of St. Basil the Great.”
