VALLEY FORGE PILGRIMAGE

Scouters from Hatboro Troop 3, Boy Scouts of America, joined other Scouters  from around the region, to set up and staff the World of Scouting Museum at the Annual Pilgrimage to Valley Forge National Park. Dave Cooper, assisted by Lester Blum and Rudy Tellmann, all staff members of Troop 3 joined David Gingras, Council Scouter–at- large; Don Ross, Council History Committee; Michelle Vera, curator of World of Scouting Museum; Rich Johnson, volunteer Scouter in Chester County and Mike Comfort, Council Scouter, set up and displayed a large amount of historical memorabilia, uniforms and patches, some dating back to the beginning of the Scouting organization.

This was the 102nd Pilgrimage to Valley Forge. It is the  oldest Scouting event in the USA.
