JEFF DIETERLY PROUDLY ACCEPTS EAGLE CHALLENGE

Jeffrey R. Dieterly, Hatboro Troop 3, Boy Scouts of America, proudly accepted the Eagle Challenge at his Court of Honor. The challenge was given by Scoutmaster Emeritus Robert John. Fellow Scouts and Staff of Hatboro Troop 3 along with Jeff's many friends and family members witnessed his elevation to the rank of Eagle by Scoutmaster Stuart Gentry. Jeff has previously received the Arrow of Light Award and the Parvuli Dei Religious Award. He served many years as Troop Quartermaster. A Brotherhood Member of the Order of the Arrow, he has enjoyed camping at Camp Daniel Boone, NC; Mount Norris Scout Reservation, VT; Haliburton Scout Reservation, Canada and Camp Baiting Hollow, NY. He has enjoyed the High Adventure of canoeing on ther Allagash River in Maine. He was also a participant at the National Scout Jamboree in 2010.
Jeff was recognized by the Union League of Philadelphia with their Good Citizenship Award in 2012. NGA-Needlework Guild of America recognized Jeff's volunteer efforts by presenting him with their National Youth Citizenship Award in 2009. Jeff is a member of the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors and helps with their Education Program. He also volunteers and is a judge for the annual "Hooked on Fishing - Not on Drugs" event in Brigantine, NJ. Jeff is a senior at Hatboro-Horsham High School where he has been a member of the football team for 3 years.
All of the Scouts of Hatboro Troop 3 invite parents and boys to visit with them, Monday evenings at 7:30PM in the Fellowship Hall, Hatboro Baptist Church.
