Abington Resident William Stock Speaks at National Association of College and University Attorneys Annual Conference on Immigration Law

William Stock, a founding partner at Klasko, Rulon, Stock & Seltzer, LLP, recently presented “The Immigration Law Survival Guide for University Attorneys” with attorneys from the University of Pennsylvania and Kent State University at the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) Annual Conference. His talk covered immigration policy and compliance issues frequently faced by college and university attorneys, such as how to balance a university’s faculty tenure review process with the requirements of the immigration sponsorship process. NACUA’s purpose is to enhance legal assistance to colleges and universities by educating attorneys and administrators as to the nature of campus legal issues.

Mr. Stock currently serves as national Second Vice President on the Executive Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and has practiced immigration law exclusively since 1993.  Mr. Stock has been listed in Best Lawyers in America every year since 2004 and Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business every year since 2006His clients include small businesses, medium sized companies, and multinational corporations and their employees; hospitals, institutions of higher education and scientific research centers; as well as investors and other individual clients. Bill is a co-author of the "J Visa Guidebook" from Lexis Publishing along with numerous immigration law articles.   A summa cum laude graduate of the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN), (B.A.1990), he received his law degree from the University of Minnesota (J.D., magna cum laude, 1993).
