The next session of Shining Knights Chess Club, for ages 4 to 14, begins April 19 and meets from 6 to 7 p.m., on Thursdays, through June 21.
Learn to play chess, from rules to advanced tournament strategies. Class time is evenly divided between instruction and play. Students will be paired with opponents of similar skill levels.

I have been to one of these sessions previously, and I had a great time playing chess with other aspiring players to improve their skills of the game. It sets me in the mood to also challenge better players than I am. I love the way the mentors coached us, and everything was done ‘on-the-job’, i.e. playing the game against equally talented players. This is one chess clinic that one should not miss.
