 ites you to join us on&nbsp\; Saturday\, May 19th from 11:30 am-3:00 pm 
 for SCHindig\, the sure-to-be-favorite family event of the spring.\nInvi
 te your friends. SCHindig is free and open to the entire community!\nPro
 ceeds from the event will support SCH Academy's fantastic Outdoor Progra
 m for boys and girls.\nActivities include:  TALENT SHOWCASE (1-2 pm): Wi
 tness the extraordinary talent within our student community.  SPECIAL GU
 EST APPEARANCE (2-3 pm):&nbsp\;Rock out at a family-friendly concert by 
 local Philly rapper Tayyib Ali.&nbsp\;\nBURGER BRAWL (All day): Sample b
 urger creations by local celebrity chefs\, including four-star chef Davi
 d Jansen\, and vote on the best recipe!  COMMUNITY PATCH (All day): Visi
 t our booths and learn about the many resources and opportunities within
  our community.  CARNIVAL (All day): Enjoy moon bounces\, toss games\, a
  giant inflatable slide\, festive foods &amp\; more!  SPORTS EQUIPMENT C
 OLLECTION (All day): Bring your used sports equipment to donate to the P
 hiladelphia Youth Organization. (PYO especially needs gently used soccer
  cleats\, baseball gloves\, shin guards\, basketballs\, soccer balls\, a
 nd lacrosse sticks.)  SHOE COLLECTION (All day):&nbsp\;Swing by the SCH 
 Eco Club "Reduce your FOOTprint" table and support their shoe recycling 
 effort. Bring along a pair of shoes to donate and you will receive a flo
 wer\, herb or veggie seedling. Donated shoes will go to Shoe Box Recycli
 ng\, an organization that sends the shoes to areas in need around the wo
 rld and work with residents to set up micro-businesses to resell the sho
 es at local markets. The Eco Club receives .50 cents per pound of shoes 
 collected and the money raised will go toward purchasing a handicapped a
 ccessible raised garden bed that the students will construct at the Unit
 ed Cerebral Palsy Foundation.&nbsp\;  SCHindig is sponsored by the stude
 nt governments and parents associations of both campuses
