More About Briar Bush Nature Center
Covering over 12-acres of land in the heart of Abington Township in Montgomery County, Briar Bush Nature Center features over one mile of trails winding through a variety of natural habitats which are home to native plants and wild animals. The grounds are also the site of the region’s first Nature PlayScape which draws upon components from the environment to create a natural play area. The Museum includes resident animals, interactive exhibits, touch tables and play areas. Its environmental educators provide a variety of programs for pre-schools, youth groups, civic organizations and retirement communities.
