DESCRIPTION:Montgomery County Community College will host a free program 
 on problem gambling\, May 10 from 2 to 4 p.m.\, in the Advanced Technolo
 gy Center\, Room 101. The program will also be show\, via videoconferenc
 ing\, at MCCC's West Campus\, South Hall\, Room 213.\nGambling may be fu
 n and exciting\, but it can also be addicting\, and can lead to serious 
 financial problems. To help the community and students learn about probl
 em gambling\, MCCC's Student Support and Referral Team\, and the Montgom
 ery County Department of Drug and Alcohol\, in collaboration with the Co
 uncil on Compulsive Gambling of PA will present the program\, "Problem G
 ambling and the College Population." Guest speaker Joanna Franklin is th
 e director of training and network development for Trimeridian Inc.\, Re
 sources for Problem Gambling. She will discuss the dangers of problem ga
 mbling\, and help the audience recognize the signs and symptoms of a com
 pulsive gambler\, and how to get appropriate help.
