Come and explore Harper's Run and the Pennypack Creek. What species of fish and insects live there? Use seine nets and containers to catch a few specimens. Everything will be released unharmed. Prepare to get wet! Wear old sneakers or sturdy water shoes. No flip-flops or rain boots, please! For adults and children ages 5 and up. Pre-registration is required. Meet in the parking lot.

More About Lorimer Park
Lorimer Park consists of more than 230 acres of woods and wildlife. The park is also home to the historic Council Rock, which folklore says hosted the meetings of Native Americans. Lorimer Park is available for a variety of outdoor activities, including horseback riding, hiking, bird watching, picnicking, sledding, cross-country skiing and fishing.
