Wayne N. Fries, 69, of Warminster

Wayne Fries was an Abington High School graduate; employed as a machinist for Proctor and Gamble for many years

 

 

Wayne N. Fries, formerly of Warminster, died on July 2, 2012 at the Quakertown Center. He was 69.

Born in Philadelphia on Dec. 8, 1942, he was a son of the late Andrew Joseph Fries and Freda (Farrow-Fries) Paulits.

He was a graduate of Abington High School and was employed as a machinist for Proctor and Gamble for many years.

Wayne enjoyed boating and fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by two children, Andrew Fries and wife Janet of Birdsboro, and Joseph Fries and wife Lynnette of Kintnersville; three grandchildren Alexander, Brian, and Allison Fries; as well as a brother, Brian Fries of Vero Beach, Fla.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Andrea Fay; and his stepfather Michael Paulits.

A funeral service was held yesterday at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home in Ambler.

Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn.
