UPDATE: Police Make Another Arrest in Rydal Park Stabbing
The 20-year-old Philadelphia man turned himself in and was accompanied by his attorney.

On Friday, Abington Police arrested Kaseem Lawson-Gregg, 20, of the 700 block of East Upsal Street, Philadelphia, after he turned himself in; Lawson-Gregg was arrested for his role in a Feb. 15 stabbing.

Abington Police Deputy Chief John Livingood said today that police believe Lawson-Gregg stabbed a 25-year-old man in the parking lot of Rydal Park retirement community. The victim, an employee of the retirement community, suffered serious injuries and is still being treated at Abington Memorial Hospital, Livingood said. He added that the victim will likely survive.
Livingood said the weapon was not recovered.
Lawson-Gregg, who was accompanied by his attorney, was charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault. Bail was set at $500,000 cash. He is being held at Montgomery County Prison; a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. in front of District Justice Juanita Price.

A Philadelphia woman was arrested today for her role in the Wednesday night stabbing of a Rydal Park retirement community employee in the facility’s parking lot.
Shayna McCrae, 18, of Philadelphia, turned herself in to Abington Police at about 2 a.m. Feb. 16, police said. She was arraigned and charged with aggravated assault and related charges.
According to police, the victim, a 25-year-old man who works in dining services at the retirement center, was stabbed multiple times in the chest, back and the abdomen following a fight with two men and McCrae at about 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday following the victim’s shift.
The Second Alarmers transported the victim to Abington Memorial Hospital, where he remains. The incident stemmed from a work dispute, police said.
The stabbing was confined to the parking lot; no residents, visitors or employees were injured, according to police.
McCrae was arraigned in front of District Justice Juanita Price. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 27. McCrae remains in police custody and the investigation continues.
