Yuri Berg, 66, of Kingston Road, Cheltenham, was arrested May 4 at 10:26 a.m. at the LA Fitness in the 300 block of Highland Avenue … near the swimming pool.
According to police, Berg grabbed another swimmer by the neck, and pushed the swimmer under the water and held the swimmer there. Berg said to the swimmer, “I will drown you if you don’t stay out of my lane.”
Police said witnesses began shouting at Berg to stop, and Berg eventually released the swimmer.
Berg was charged with terroristic threats, harassment, simple assault and disorderly conduct.
Bail was set at $20,000 and posted by the defendant. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 6.

I met him in Europe on a tour, just a week ago. What a horrible disturbing person he is! I'm not surprised that I found this article about him. I feel sorry for the man in the pool. Very agressive , this Yuri.
