Police: Home Health Care Employee Steals Thousands in Jewelry
Abington Police said a Philadelphia woman stole thousands from a Willow Grove home.
A warrant was issued Oct. 4 for a Philadelphia woman who Abington Police say stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from a home in Willow Grove.
According to police, Shakeya Major, 27, of Hartville Street, Philadelphia, was providing home health care services through Abramson Home Care for a family in the 2800 block of Carnation Avenue between November and April. The complainant reported in July that several pieces of her husband’s jewelry were missing — totaling $9,750.
According to the affidavit, police obtained a list of home health care workers that were working at the complainant’s house and Major was one of three. Police then checked slips at local pawn shops.
Police found three pawn slips at Gold Depot in Willow Grove linked to Major — two were dated Feb. 15 and one was dated Feb. 25. Major was at the Carnation Avenue house on both dates and the complainant identified the jewelry on the slips.
Major's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31 at 10:15 a.m. in front of district justice John Kessler.
According to court records, Major was also arrested in September by Whitpain Township Police for a theft in July.

I wonder why career Phila. politician Allyson Schwartz hasnt been arrested. She has been recieving tax payer funded pay checks for representing the 13th Congressional district and as we in the suburbs know, she only represents the unions in Philty. Recieving a check for services not rendered is a felony.

Is it a coincidence that this woman worked at my parents house and all of the jewelry went missing? Doubt it!!!!
