Obituary: Paul S. Asplundh
Asplundh led the tree firm that bears his name, was a past president of the Jenkintown Chamber of Commerce and was a board member of Abington Memorial Hospital.
Paul S. Asplundh, of Huntingdon Valley, died Wednesday of bladder cancer at Abington Hospice at Warminster. He was 81.
Born in Bryn Athyn, Asplundh was an Air Force radio communications officer. He was a Penn State University alumnus, having graduated in 1954.
Asplundh, a son of Griffith Asplundh, was one of three brothers who began the tree business in 1928.
