Roslyn Pays to Vote ... On Pumpkins
Students craft some interesting gourds to benefit charity.
On Oct. 28 and on Halloween, Roslyn Elementary School held its second annual “Pick a Pumpkin” contest to benefit the Susan G. Komen For the Cure organization.
Students entered 62 creatively designed pumpkins; they were placed in the school’s lobby and students had the opportunity to pay $0.25 to vote for their favorite pumpkin.
Principal Kevin Osborne was represented ... in pumpkin form.
