Abington Commissioner Wayne Luker presented Willow Hill Elementary School Principal Damon Jordan and members of the school’s student council with a commendation during the Thursday board of commissioners meeting.

Luker thanked the student council for its help in putting up goose-crossing signs on Old Welsh Road last month.

Luker and Abington Board of Commissioners President Carol DiJoseph both said jokingly that it looked like Jordan had brought the whole school to the meeting.
