This year's 'Cool Cars in the School Yard' summer opening auto show of the Wilow Grove Lions Club featured historical lessons from recent U.S. History as well as over 150 classic, antique and next generation cars and motorcycles.

The late Don Magee’s 1960 Cadillac Convertible. A longtime participant of the Lions Club of Willow Grove “Cool Cars in the School Yard” auto show, Magee’s memory was honored with this year’s first Magee Memorial Best Stock Car in Show award.

The car seat I was placed in as a child was not quite the same, but had a similar amount of safety. With two hooks over the seat back, I sat on a padded seat with a foam rubber handle. It had a plastic steering wheel attached. Back then, the car seat was so the child could see outside, not about being safe. Nice car Alan.
