Armed Robbery at McDonald’s

Police are searching for two men who robbed the McDonald's on Old York Road and fled on foot.

 

 

At about 6:05 a.m. today, two men entered the McDonald’s Restaurant at 1663 Old York Road in Abington and announced a robbery, according to Abington Police.

At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

One of the suspects remained in front of the store with the employees while the second suspect forced the manager to open the safe, according to police.

No shots were fired and no one was injured. It is unknown how much cash was stolen.

The suspects are being described as black men, of average height and weight, last seen wearing hooded sweatshirts and scarves covering their faces.

The suspects fled on foot toward Chester Avenue.

Im pretty sure that it wasn't career Phila politician Allyson Schwartz because she has never been to Abington.
