The Associated Press is reporting that two local women died from heat stress in conjunction with heart disease during the recent heat wave.
According to the report, Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Walter Hofman said one of the women was a 57-year-old Rockledge resident; the other was a 71-year-old resident of Lansdale.
The Rockledge woman was found dead on July 2; the Lansdale resident was found a day later, according to the report
And, according to the report, at least eight Pennsylvanians have suffered heat-related deaths this year.
