Phillie Phanatic: Hot dog gun enthusiast and source of "humiliation and loss of life's pleasures?"

According to a story on Philly.com, an Abington woman is suing the Phillie Phanatic after the Phanatic allegedly tossed her in a pool, causing "severe and permanent injuries to her head, neck, back, body, arms and legs, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and tissues ..."

The woman, identified as Suzanne Peirce, said she was attending her sister's wedding at The Golden Inn in Avalon in July 2010. A video posted on YouTube (seen above) shows the Phanatic frolicking with guests at a party at the resort.

The bird from the Galápagos Islands, the Phillies and the hotel are listed as defendants.

One more law suit happy person. What the Phanatic is accused of is beyond the control of the hotel or the Phillies organization. If a member of your family injured another person should they sue you for the injuries because you are related/connected to that person. Maybe the parents, grandparents, obstetrician, hospital, (hope you get the idea) should all be named in the lawsuit for bringing this person into the world. You might disagree with what I am saying but in reality the only one to blame is the person that committed the act, others actions cannot be controlled by ones family just like they cannot be controlled by the hotel or Phillies organization. If you & your lawyer are trying to get every penny possible you need to step back into reality and put yourself in the positions you are putting the hotel and Phillies organization into. I'm sure there were plenty of people there that could have possibly been a part of what they felt was just a funny joke (but they are going to admit to it). Picking up you & the lounge chair and carrying it to the pool with nobody able to intervene seems a little wild to me when the pictures show a lot of people present. Were you the only one present in that area near the pool.
