The Abington Board of Commissioners held its reorganization meeting last night. While the board looks quite different with its four new members, its leadership remains the same.

District Justice Juanita Price administered the oath of office to the four incumbent commissioners in one fell swoop. They are:

The newcomers were sworn in one by one — each was accompanied by his or her family. The newly-minted commissioners are:

Board president Carol DiJoseph and board vice president Peggy Myers were each re-appointed unanimously by a vote of 14-0. (Commissioner Lori Schreiber was not in attendance; township manager Michael LeFevre said she had a death in the family earlier that evening.)

DiJoseph, on being appointed board president:

“Being in politics, no one ever knows what’s going to happen waiting for an evening such as this,” DiJoseph said. “Of course I wondered, ‘Well, I don’t know if I’m going to be president again.’ And then I had a sign at around 3 o’clock. I heard that Andy Reid was going to continue as coach of the Eagles. I said, ‘If that man — after all the times he’s been vilified in the press, and everyone has called him all kind of names — if that man can come back as coach, they’re probably going to put me back in tonight as president.”

Notes:

  • Rex Herder was re-appointed township solicitor through Dec. 31, 2013; the annual retainer is $105,000, paid in monthly installments. After some discussion, DiJoseph called Herder "a bargain." She also said she felt there was "no reason to entertain any other applications [for township solicitor]." Herder said he went to a fixed retainer in 2000 and added that his rate only increased once — from about $97,000 to the current $105,000. Newcomer Madeleine Dean — who voted for Herder — interrupted the roll-call vote, and said that she was uncomfortable voting for an appointment so shortly after being sworn in.
  • The board of commissioners appointed Michael Powers to the position of township engineer through Dec. 31, 2013.
  • The board of commissioners appointed James Carroll to the position of Chairman of the Vacancy Board through Dec. 31. Carroll was elected by a vote of 8-6. Former commissioner Michael O'Connor also received a nomination, but lost.
  • Rabbi Lawrence Sernovitz of Old York Road Temple-Beth Am gave the invocation.
  • Boy Scout Troop 72, which has been in operation since 1934 at the Roychester Community House, led the Pledge of Allegiance.

A Prediction: Sometime soon, Herder's deficiencies will be perceived publicly as undeniable.

The only one who has lost more than Rex Herder has been Andy Reid. More facts on Herders track record to follow!

So Abington has reorganized, so what !! Are these not the same Commissioners that limit the citizens to 3 minutes to speak while the United States Constitution states other wise? Will it be the same Commissioner that holds up time limit signs to people asking questions at the mic? Are these not the same Commissioners that do not want to respond to questions? Are these not the same Commissioners who " RAISED " your taxes after many " FEES " have been applied? The only change I see in the Board of Commissioners of Abington is, four new faces.

Abington and Montco's tax will rise thanks to Josh Shapiro who supports the ADL
Hate Crime laws. What happened in Jenkintown with a 14.2% tax increase is just the
start

Fix for web links on ADL-Penn State Issue
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKY7TTweTwU

Penn State President Graham Spanier fired over Sandusky issue
Spainer was a major back of Hillel at Penn State the same group
control by the Bronfman Crime Family who backs the ADL to
tolerate LGBT agenda.

http://www.natallnews.com/printer.php?id=10041
raham Spanier, who is Jewish and according to The Daily Collegian was active at the Penn State Hillel, was relieved of his duties on Wednesday by the Board of Trustees. He served as the university’s president for 16 years.

Same ADL-Hillel in Abington that supports LGBT agenda in Abington's Schools
time to take Josh Shapiro and Abington Commissioners Watcher, DiJoseph and Lori Schreiber, Luker on their support for the Abington No For Place for Hate Program
Removal of the program reduces the risk of another Sandusky issue in Abington Schools.

Art Larson, ladies and gentlemen. The most anti-Semitic, hate-filled, conspiracy theory driven lunatic in Abington. He'll be here all week. Remember to tip your waitresses.

Also what is your war chest like? I have been sued about 250 times track record
is 1 loss 249 wins.

My Lawyer is hungry can he have you for lunch?

I suggest you not say anything you are not ready to back up with facts in front of a Jury Trial.

Ask Upper Moreland what I am like.
I already have a law on the books in PA dealing with them

Here a public official can after me for a small fine.
He was found to lie to the courts.

I sued he filed for bankruptcy and lost his home as a consequence of
my legal actions( Matt DeSimmons)

Why even Watcher was reminded that
he can not legally do things to oppose his deeds of corruption public office

We can be nice with a small wager of 20 Silver Dollars
To see if the see facts shown are incorrect.

1) The Wager is the ADL is the Mafia and
they sponsor Abington's No Place for Hate Program.

2) Josh Shapiro as publicly stated he supports the Hate Crime Laws. Shapiro was cited via JewishPhilly.com and They are tied to Lubvitch which is controlled by
Sheldon Adelson the Sands Casino operator who bought the Casino from Lansky

If you want to claim Anti-Semitic

I may ask you to prove this in front of a Jury
Ask Prudential Fox what I am like
www.nixprufox.wetpaint.com

Let's see if you can deny these two facts on the Anti-Mafia Issue.

I don't think that being sued 250 times is something to brag about.

And look, I'm all for freedom of speech. When your mailer went out to citizens in Ward 5 before Wayne Luker faced off against Donna Brewer in the Primaries, I supported your rights to send out whatever you wanted to send. That's one of the blessings of living in America and -- whether it's run by the Jewish-Italian-Anheuser-Busch Mob or not -- we have to take the good (things like The Daily Show) with the bad (I'm sure we could come up with a good example for bad). Free speech is a right given to us by our constitution. It's the reason that I can argue with the Bobs on one day and agree with them on how we disagree with you the very next.

You seem very caught up in money. You want to bet $10,000. You want to bet 20 silver dollars (some reference to Judas Ascariot perhaps?). You want to take me on in the court of law. But here's the thing...just as you have the right to spew your fringe-speak based on conspiracy theory, I have the right to voice my disagreement with you.

I do not believe that the ADL is the Mafia. If you want to, that's your right. I think you're wrong. I think a LOT of people will think you're wrong. And I think that if YOU could have proved it (instead of asking everyone else to prove otherwise) then maybe you'd have more people taking you seriously and fewer people, like me, asking you if you missed your meds tonight.

good comment Marc we disagree on the ADL issue. If you are right nothing happens

If you are wrong and the community does nothing. Then in about ten years one will see property taxes like they have in Long island NY.Here they pay about 15k per year on a 200K home due to mob control. Just like Camden NJ and Bell California
http://articles.cnn.com/2010-09-21/justice/california.bell.arrests_1_luis-artiga-misappropriation-victor-bello?_s=PM:CRIME
Bensalem, Jenkintown-Chelthen are already going this way now.
high property taxes and trash firms like waste mgt in a town are indicators

Proof? ask law enforcement you may be surprised by the answer you get
Ask some of the DAs in PA also

No legal issues are not great spent about 1.5 million over 12 years. However
I learned freedom is not free.

One has to fight tyranny and one must stand up
to it regardless. You may not believe but some do

Why were the No Place for Hate signs removed from the Library
and Township buildings?

To me those ADL signs mean the government is up for sale to the highest paying
pimp. That this is a mob controlled town just like Vegas. And the government of the
people has been replace with tyranny
