Smashing mugs on the street ... and they found him intoxicated?
Retail theft … Nayquan Temelle Harvin, 22, of the 4500 block of Penn Street, Philadelphia, was arrested March 24 at 12:41 p.m. after a Macy’s loss prevention officer saw Harvin select four comforter bags and carry them out of the store without paying, police said. According to police, Harvin walked out to the parking lot and placed the stolen merchandise inside a black Saturn. The merchandise was large and bulky and was in plain view through the window. It was recovered and is valued at $1,500.
DUI … Alyssa L. Loberto, of the 700 block of Bringhurst Road, Audubon, N.J., was arrested March 2 at 8:55 a.m. on Huntingdon Pike near Rydal East Elementary School after she was seen driving 35 mph in a 15 mph school zone, police said. According to police, Loberto’s vehicle smelled of marijuana and her hands were shaking. Loberto’s passenger, Wayne Wible said that he had thrown a blunt out of the window. Loberto said there was a bowl in the center console. Following a search, police found two small red Ziploc baggies, containing suspected marijuana, in the ashtray. There were also two blue bowls in the center console and a pink and black change purse in the glovebox containing a bronze marijuana grinder with residue; a clear Ziploc bag containing several small, used Ziploc bags with marijuana residue; and one green pill bottle containing marijuana residue.
Loberto said she and her passenger had smoked about a nickel bag on the way to work. Loberto’s blood tested positive for Delta-9 THC, the active ingredient in marijuana.

Summary arrests
Retail theft … Sandra Boss, 61, of Faunce Street, Philadelphia, was arrested March 20 at 1:09 p.m. after Sears security in Willow Grove Park mall saw Boss remove and conceal $78 worth of merchandise and leave without attempting to pay, police said.
Disorderly conduct and public drunkenness … Alexander Lesher, 24, of Brooke Road, Glenside, was arrested March 21 at 12:06 a.m. after Lesher was asked to Leave the McKinley Tavern by staff members, police said. According to police, Lesher kept returning … and smashed mugs in the street and fought with staff members. When police arrived, they found Lesher to be intoxicated.
Disorderly conduct … Michael Beaver, 40, of Tyson Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested March 27 at 8:46 a.m. after police responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in the corner of Baeder and Hilltop roads, police said. According to police, Beaver admitted to smoking marijuana in the vehicle; a small amount of marijuana was found in the vehicle.
Public drunkenness … Khalil Bailey, 26, of Llanfair Road, Cheltenham, was arrested March 27 at 12:58 p.m. after police responded to a call of a man stumbling on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of Easton Road, police said. According to police, Bailey was found unconscious, lying on a lawn … highly intoxicated.
Defiant trespassing and soliciting without an ordinance … Charles Batot, 60, of Easton Road, Abington, was arrested March 27 at 8:25 p.m. after Batot was found at Lukoil on Easton Road begging customers for money, police said. According to police, the Lukoil manager had warned Batot several times not to be on the property.
